Where is his bears bears bears (one of his first vids) I love him, I think has a great job and the way he goes about it is great and in terms of a company and game representitive I think himself alone has generated a lot love and hype by players and press for the game all on his own.
His podcasts are brilliant

Right for all or not quite what it should be as an mmo the developers at mythic are cool and know how to comunicate with its players, listen, work hard but have fun.
Wow developers know their game and do a LOT of content and changes and for a long while do listen overall with their player base but they are TERRIBLE and telling people what is going on and tbh at any press event they are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO boring, droll robots and never really say anything and dare I say it at the moment not really listening to the players at the moment, they still are as the normally do but then you can clearly tell their attentions are on their next expansion and mmo and not their players at the moment.

Cool, Grats :)
A lot of people put it down when it should not, a lot forget about it being beta and what is not turned on in beta visually and a lot of people do not watch anything about it and so do not understand the content and features of the game.
I like this a lot, I wont play it as you need no life for this one but it looks massive and you will not be bored in terms of content.

Are you talking about the US servers there?

If so, the people who pre-ordered in the US will be able to download the client on Friday, but wont actually get to play the game, unless they have been invited to closed beta.

If you are talking about Europe, then please post where you got the info from as the EU servers are being run by GOA, not Mythic, and a representative from GOA has said on the Warhammer Alliance forums that they are still working on getting their servers set up and they would be ready for open beta, but probably not before.

Its wayyyyy to early for the release, Ive been playing Closed Beta for some time now and its not ready, unless they have been hiding a lot of the game from the Closed Beta testers.

Well, the open beta is going to be in the coming weeks as there is just over a month before the game is released (September 18th).

As for the closed beta, I heard that earlier on in the beta they tested certain areas, so other areas were inaccessible, then every so often theyd close areas and open others so that they were all tested thoroughly. Although I dont know if thats how it is now as Im not in the beta.

They do tend to hold a lot back in closed betas If you watch the video blogs you can see stuff and looks that are not on the beta. Internally the game looks a lot better.
