Its only people who pre-ordered the US version of the game that will get to download on the 15th. There is still no word on the Euro servers and downloads.

Its wayyyyy to early for the release, Ive been playing Closed Beta for some time now and its not ready, unless they have been hiding a lot of the game from the Closed Beta testers.

They do tend to hold a lot back in closed betas If you watch the video blogs you can see stuff and looks that are not on the beta. Internally the game looks a lot better.

Ive said this so many times over the years about so many MMOs. Take it from me, its NEVER true.

A lot of the content they promised has actually been taken out.  :disappointed:

If it was wow it would be a lot of content but for WAR it is actually not a lot if you look at what it will be releasing with.

NDA gets dropped tomorrow and GOA have dropped the UK pricing of the game from £10.31 per month, £28.55 for 3 months, and £52.34 for 6 months to £8.99, £25.17, and £46.14.

Yep, theyve obviously looked at the pricing and realised itd be a stupid business decision to price it above the main rival MMORPG.

The NDA has now dropped, so we should hear more about the game and see a lot of screenshots and vids going up on the net in the next few days.

Compare that to the new cinematic for the next wow expansion or any of wow for that matter, out did them and blizzards are good. Mind you the WOTLK on is terrible really, it looks stunning but the actual content is pants compared to the previous and nothing on the WAR one.

I just dont think the market needs any more orcs/elves/dwarves Tolkein-esque fantasy MMOs. I think there are still plenty of niches to exploit in the MMO market, doing more of the same means youre just going to be a flash in the pan. Youll grab a huge fanbase from other major titles and then theyll dwindle after 6 months and eventually move on to the next "big" thing.

Out of E3 came the over used term - Classless MMO, MAG - Massive action game (great title) being a bit different so while your correct there are things coming that are different. Will they work? Dunnu but different stuff is coming. Saying that though WAR is different and many who liked wow will not like war and it will not be because it does not play well but the sheer size and content progress will be to big for many who play wow and to in depth because its a very deep game, way to much content and why they had to cut some for release but it is still very very large.

Conan numbers are hurtful with them bragging over 1 million subscriptions one minute and recently quietly touting 465k I think it was still actively playing, that is a big fall off. Conan was released to early and unfinished and WAR does risk that as well so will see.

For me I will not play another MMO, kills to much of your time, I may consider the Knights of the old republic online though as the potential is there and I love the IP, I mean its star wars, come on SWG could have been great but the developers could only make the engine and the raw content concepts they had no grasp of what blizzard did well in terms of the raiding and questing etc.

Stargate worlds  - Could be a flop, could be a surprise hit.
Star Trek Online has finally a decent developer but they are more about churning out then developing something deep and this will be a ship shoot out with away missions on the side and not what it could and should have been. I mean when you read "Everyone is a captain" they tout, that kills it.
