how much money have you spare on materials research?

cheaper and easier to buy a chassis unless you own tig gear and weld for a living

next to none..

where on earth do you buy a chassis lol

I dont think you could, youd have get get a friend, like knighty to help ;) although somthing tells me he aint got time to go down to dorset :P

I think that Idea would be great though Binary Shadow, 4WD sports car, absolutly no weight, but youd have to put some serious work into making the engine produce mega horsepower!.

Silly question, the Humptyflux billabong bracket even makes your dick bigger!!

300bhp, even if the car weighed 800KGs would be lightening imo.

You should have a chassis like the Aerial Atom and then have the body made from perspex! thatd look mint!!

800kg? what you making the chassis out of solid steel?

lol a tubular chassis tends to weigh around 200 kgs. then  another 200 kgs for an engine. then about 80 depending on how much fuel you add.

then another 90 because you need to lose the weight from christmas.

I was just guessing, I have no experience of building a car :P

Well 300HP and ~500KG or so I think would be awesome!, although how much HP is lost by the transmission?

Remember the 4WD BTCC audis? they would have had around 300HP.

dont have 4wd, its pointless cause ur not gonna be going offroad are you, plus the transfer box and extra diff will just add weight
