Ghandi once said...

"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."

Its a very true comment which is why quite honestly, overall, Im not a fan of religion at all.  I see it as being one of the worlds major issues.  But the problem isnt actually the religion, its the people who follow it, twist it and then try to justify something with their "religion" when it is in no way condoned by the religion.

Religion is contradictory, they nearly all go along the lines of "Peace, love and good happiness stuff"(to crudly quote from a Steve Vai song) but all we end up doing is blowing each other up.  And lets be honest, the muslims are the worst for using their religion as an excuse.  Where the hell does their religion say blow people up?

We cant do anything about it though, take away religion, try and ban it or whatever, how is that a free world?  Its not.

So life goes on, life sucks at times, sometimes it doesnt.

I cant say anymore on the matter.

OK explain this one, it clear you think the McCanns killed Madelaine, but they preyed with the pope, for her release, if the pope had your beliefs hes a lyer then.

I have kept a constant not guilty until proven stance. I distrust the evidence in the case and some of the theories they are producing are plainly not far off flights of fantasy.

As for the pope Im not a Roman Catholic either, hes just a man with no more contact with god than you or I. The bible has been distorted and misused throughout history to the point that you cannot believe that it tells anything like the story it should. This is mans fault too, entirely because some are too greedy.

In that case this Thread is very missleading.

You did it, didnt you?

It gives the choice of being as innocent as the mCCanns, it does not give an opinion on their being guilty or not! ;)

So I didnt do that.
my mistake I thought, you were being sarcastic again, I mistook this saying.

 innocent as the mCCanns,

When my kids stay, things happen, they both deny it and say were innocent., Jack |frost did it.

How about Moving this thread to SC and leave GD out of this.
M3ta7h3ad "You've been blessed with a keyboard with every vowel and consonant in the english language... yet you type like a fool".

"The greatest cause of atheism in the world today is christians, they acknowledge jesus with their lips, and deny him by their lifestyle".

Though this is going to turn too heavy for GD. At least post it in the right forum - Speakers Corner.

Just to point out.... the pope isnt the only link to god.

The Queen herself is our godhead. Our appointed representative for the heavens. Like it or not, Britain is a christian nation, Englands official national anthem is "jerusalem" and the unofficial... god save the queen.

To be British, is to be christian. :)

I thought it might be but it looked like it could have been a play on religion being old fashioned or something.
