Mongoose that is the most awesome thing Ive seen, and Ive seen some cool stuff on Youtube. I spend ages digging and building stuff and dont have anything anywhere near that cool  8-)

What are you using for screenshots, is there an F12 type print screen in game?

Did you use buckets to get the water up into your sky fortress?

Excellent stuff.

I might hold fire on building too much more if theres the possibility of a tek server in the works :D

This is what the uberfort looks like at the moment, its nightime so doesnt really show the scale very well.

"On the outside looking in" (and up the stairway to heaven)

Looking down the staircase. The lit up Obelisk in the distance is how Ive been marking mineshafts and caves that link up to them. Ive been digging straight small tunnels today and basically lighting up any caves that I run into. Not hit any quite as epic as the one my uberfort is on though. It was classic when I dug a shaft up from the bottom to discover I was about 10 tiles under water in the sea behind the uberfort. I guess I should try and relocate the shaft and block the sea off around it to dry it out :D

Inside the fort:

Chests of goodness. I have 2 full of stone now >< Ive been going out on the roof and chucking the excess over the side lol

2nd floor. Minecraft could do with a "bed" or something which you can use to progress time by 6 hours to skip night time, and/or heal up.

The Sun coming up from the top of the UBER Tower. The tower is so high the clouds go through it literally, i built it as high as it was possible, theres a block so you cant go higher. Dead centre about an inch up you can see the doorway to the Super Tunnel at the other side of the Sea

A shot of the land from high above

Water below as im falling from the ultimate diving board

A shot of the diving board, i got steps on the inside of the tower also

A view from a small part of the super tunnel, this is my version of Euro tunnel, dug under the sea

The baby mine, work stopped cus i hit bedrock

The Big one! I was mining this for quite sometime while chatting with Clocked and Knighty :P Both mines have contributed to the UBER Tower

The End

If youve not bought it yet, I think all we need is the I.P. of the server when its running to join, looking at the multiplayer screen info.

Thought id see what all the fuss is about, dont seem to be able to login (to the stand alone exe). How do you play for free?

Im getting "User Not Premium. Play online once to enable offline"

The online classic version doesnt work for me, throws a java error.

The free weekend is over now. Only way is to do the classic, or pay up what is about £9 for lifetime updates etc.

If classic throws a java error chances are the paid alpha would too, so you might want to see if you can fix that error? (security? popup blocker etc?)

I think thats something to do with how the free weekend worked. If you played it during the weekend I think perhaps it counts as that once online thing allowing continued offline play. But for new people, they cant get that first online play (even if you only played it offline) to register?

Compared to other indie games of similar cost I think this is well worth the money.

Unlike most other games it really is quite easy to just play for 5 mins and come back to it the next day, not that you can resist playing for longer or anything...
