Wow, dunno whats happened but my net speed is finally decent. Only noticed when a download went to 850kb/s.

I got 9mb line here in NZ but blasted thing is messed up at the mo with a fixed 50kbps or less download rate although they have fixed my up which is now 860kbps Just need my down sorted

I used to be on virgin 20mb, but they stopped my deal and I couldnt afford the full price, so I went down to 2mb.
I think they forgot to change it, been the same for 2 months now

 :shock:  i thought mine was fast

So, so during daytime at home ( with µTorrent and a few pages running though )

Oh btw, I think the Maidenhead server has a 10mb limit as I never get any better than this:


and Maidenhead is only a couple of miles down the road :s

The upload is poop
Its a problem with the Cable network, its designed for delivery of information and not publishing; still at least Im not stuck on dial-up

Are you on Virigin ADSL ? I didnt think the Cable service had upload lower than 512k ?

What type is the cable ? is it fibre ? is synchronous or asynchronous ?

I allways use maidenhead as thats the yellow one, never a problem for me,
just done one at london
