copper in an M5 hiding in the bushes on my way home.... he was well back so I didnt see him....


luck for me I was going too fast for him to get my speed as I passed him and I overtook someone just after passing him... by the time he caught up I was parked outside my house....  so got off with a verbal warning....

tho it stays on my "record" (or whatever) for 12 months.... so if I do it again theyll know about it :-s

Heh, so thats why all these police chases you see on TV happen. If they can make it home before the cops catch up, they get off with a warning!

its not on a proper criminal record... he was blabbing on and I didnt want to interupt... basically if I get pulled again when they put my name into the computer itll come up about being pulled this time....

best not to argue with them if youre not getting done tbh.... theyll just make your life miserable if you do :-o

If your stopped for speeding and they have proof then your going to get punished, and the "he may have before" note means nothing and should mean nothing with no proof and if you get a fine more then the standard because of that the it is the courts you should go.

its kinda obvious I was speeding when the car I overtook (which he got stuck behind) was speeding too !

Hang on youre from near Newcastle so if you got spotted on the M5 which runs from Birmingham to near Exeter, good going to keep ahead for all that time back to the NE!

Doesnt matter how many officers saw it, if they dont have actual evidence in the form of video or speed gun then its not going to be put in court.
