Well never get any real research done on the subject because its all politically motivated now. The amount of funding available for environmental science related fields has increased a hundred fold since global warming entered the public consciousness and the vast majority of people who work in the field depend on this manipulation of figures to "prove" man-made global warming in order to get their salaries. If they dont lie, their families dont eat and they are unemployed.

1. Man made pollution harms the earth - We know and it is a good idea to reduce polution etc.
2. It is fing stupid and just a means to money grab off the public with all these schemes to charge/tax the average Joe Blogs and his home for pollution. My TV is harming the planet you say?
3. A good article I read the other day showed how 13 big oil tanker ships going around the sea create much more crap then a number of countries put together.
4. Big companies and industry do more harm then the Joe public yet they do not or are not forced or not planned to be pushed to improve things as much. In fact many governments will subsidise their taxes and costs in regard to carbon footprint reductions etc. I mean WTF!
5. Fact: World cools and Warms up, it has cycles and people out there have laid out these and how the Earth is in one of its Warm Cycles. In a few years it will cool. (What is the bet that the fast cooling of the earth will be down to us polluting it!)
6. A lot of people are realising they can use this as an excuse to raise prices of their items, charge more for fuel, A means to tax you and get more money off you......
7. To make some of the above viable of course they are going to fudge the figures, Scientists in many areas have been doing that for years.

Yeah we need to reduce what we put out, but all the bollux of killing the planet is stupid in my opinion. What is worse is they are bloody blaming me and you! F OFF!!!!!!!

Yep, its the fact that they try to lay the blame at the average joe on the street when there are a million and one steps that can be taken at a corporate level to sort things out. For example if every office turned off their bloody computers and shut the lights off when they werent in the building it would save a huge amount of energy.

Hell yeah I bet if you took 5 large companies in a city and the power use overnight I bet you still would be more then many more times that in terms of the households in the area.
Same with Recycling, we all need to do it but bloody hell, large companies should be doing much more then they are now yet we are the ones labelled with the blame.

Even if anthropocentric models for climate change turn out to be wrong or faulty, I still think that moving away from carbon-based energy sources to a hybrid nuclear/renewables paradigm can only be a good and worthwhile goal for our entire species, if not our planet.
