Well this leaves a sour taste in the mouth of my new build  :disappointed:

Googling suggests this is a common problem, so why are they still selling them  :disappointed:

If I try and do anything other than web browsing (and THAT crashes with artifacts) it just craps itself and is running at these mighty figures

Aye, I can just do without it tbh, all my gear is so out of date I dont even have another PCI-E card!

If I use the rig without doing anything with flash it tends to work for a bit :lol:

Errrr so Aria just mailed me this,

We would like to inform you that the Item that you returned to us on RMAXXXX has been
tested and has been rejected for the following reason


*    not faulty ran unreal all night no artifacts

must have been a compatability issue with the gigabyte motherboard or something as seen here http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=176132&st=60 I guess I will find out when I get it back  :-\

Ah thats a pain :(

I have a EVGA 1GB GTX460 and the Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3 without having these issues. During DoWII I do get the odd "crashed and restored" black screens when I've been playing for awhile but I think its a heating issue as my current setup has only got 1 working case fan and you can feel things getting very toasty :P

I had that board, which is my worry :thumbdown: oh well, I will have to pay the return postage now, which is a pain :gag:

Thats a big shame mate, couldn't you have returned it under Distance Selling Regs or what is out of its time?

I could still return it if it's not working, tbh I reckon it was the motherboard and that partic card, people are moaning round the net, will see tomorrow I guess :(
