Well I think Im going to go with the Pirelli 2500 Euros. They arnt too cheap and seem ideal, about Ã,£100 inc delivery. I guess Ill have to live with it

Alien8

my mother used to put remoulds on her car till she had a few suffer from tread separation, I personally would not touch em, shop around, when I had the Astra a set of new Toyo 330s could be got locally for Ã,£6 more per corner fitted than remoulds.

I would also steer clear of part worns, some are just due to legal tread depth diffs in Europe but other are puncture repairs. and the coating they use to make em look newish can hide faults.

can move those sofas next time when the new van is insured etc.. :)

I bought the Pirelli 2500s in the end, just over Ã,£100 inc del. Still got to find out the sting for fitting from my friendly garage

Just got an email, ETA is 16/07 which is Sunday? Cant imagine them delivering on a Sunday, can anyone verify if this is likely?

QuoteDelivery
The normal delivery time for an existing order is 5 to 7 working days.

Clock'd 0Ne

That doesnt categorically state that weekend deliveries are out of bounds though :?

Ah well. I might email them.

For anyone else even remotely curious:

QuoteDear Sir

Congratulations to them for their inability to process the order with delivery address seperate from invoice address. Theyve only tried to deliver to the wrong house!

I hate this kind of incompetence.

edit: Now I cant even login to the site to view the order and their password recovery doesnt work :disappointed:

One more strike and they are out of the f***** game.

Clock'd 0Ne

Just take a wild guess how many tyres arrived today instead of the 4 I ordered

Goddamned TWO!

One would say, that they are out of the f***** game.

Theyve had a polite but harsh email, believe me. I wanted these fitted this weekend and I cant see that happening now with me having to leave it so late to book into the garage.
