Last two tyres just arrived, God knows when Ill be able to get them fitted now though, I was hoping to get booked in somewhere for tomorrow, seems unlikely now...

Got them fitted finally. They seem pretty good on the corners, enough to allow me to scare Kinky poopless...

My tracking was out 4mm, is that a lot? It seemed just enough for me to notice it.

I dont consider tracking or "alignment" as its more commonly referred to stateside, to be much of a problem for the average family car if you cant feel it, it doesnt show a wierd wear pattern, or even cause noise and vibration. Sounds like you were a wee bit off, but none too bad.

nige id get the tracking sorted if i were you, itll only be Ã,£20 or Ã,£30 and I always think I can really feel the difference with the road holding after its done :)

plus... youll save a it of cash in the longer run because your new front tyres will last longer :)

I already had it done Alan, sorry to confuse you

I made sure they did it anyway and they told me after it was 4mm out of tracking previously, was an extra Ã,£25 quid, but well, doesnt matter now. I spent enough on the tyres to want it all spot on.  :-)

I should be going down to Birmingham this weekend to see my old mates, so that will be a good run for them to see how different it feels. Especially at speed.
