Well as I have said quite a few times,

if I am not happy with it after that, I can add dampers easily enough

just finished the order, bits will be through next week sometime

Parts arrive next week sometime, will have to arrange fitment.

Can do the struts myself easy, but I wont attempt the springs.

Also need to get the suspension geometry checked, as lowering a car throws all the alignment out I believe? - wonder if its best to bed in for a few weeks or have it done as soon as they are fitted.. :?

Now I gotta tell the ins. company (up to Ã,£1500 worth of this kind of upgrade = Ã,£0 on the premium apart from Ã,£25 admin fee. Do like the company I am with sometimes )

i do like my cars to handle well, but im not gonna bother with any springs or anything, cause ive got the big heavy diesel lump at the front and that just naffs everything up

Why would it naff things up mate? As you can get specific diesel springs which compensate for the weight of the diesel engine.

Thats one reason I love my C2 GT.  They got the handling spot on.  It corners like its on rails.  A bit stiff over speed bumps and pot holes but I try to avoid them as much as I can

Yeah the C2 handles gorgeously even in 1.1 guise. Kris do you find that occasionally the rear end skips out (say on a surface change) while cornering?!?

Love the ST mate, but personally would go for a C2 VTS.
