Wanted to get a new Shuffle, engraved with one of my favourite lines from The Sisters of Mercys song Driven like the Snow, specifically "Fcuk[The other word] me and marry me young". But they wont allow it. The irony being they sell this song on the iTunes store.

Nope, cant get a swearword engraved, including variations in spacing and letter organisation, including FCUK (so there goes me wanting to be a fashion victim). Even the very tame "Crap" doesnt make the grade.

They also wont allow "Pussy" or "Lesbian" or "Lesbian Pussy Muncher", but WILL allow "Gay" and, rather bizarrely, "Kiddie Fiddler", "I touch young boys" and "Abused by the Catholic Church".

"Apple suck balls" is fine.

Why do they care what someone wants engraved on their iPod that theyre paying money for?

Get two Ipods, one with "Apple sukx balls, exploits black workers and pays $$$ to the KKK", let the Register know about the story and flog it on eBAy with the resultant publicity, and have the 2nd one goldplated and engraved with "The Sisters are a bit weedy really" with the sale proceeds    :mrgreen:
