Short anwser: No

Ps Its actually Modern Warfare 2, COD has been and gone years ago

Pps I would hold off buying it until after release, theres still millions of people that wont read into its lack of features but they will surely moan once they have bought it, couple that with zero reviews before release day and no demo, and give it a bit of time for some decent "unbiased" reviews to surface before making a decision.

Ppps This is in relation to PC release :P

Regardless of all the neigh-sayers, Ill be buying it on release day and will likely not play anything else until the next CoD game is released in 18ish months time :)

Should mention that Im a 360 FPSer now. It took a while to get used to it but I love it now :)

I loved Modern Warfare 1. I dont play online so I really dont care about lack of features in multiplayer, I just think the story is awesome.
Ill be buying it on Tuesday when it comes out.

^ Call of duty 2 :P

Agree with you on the single player though, I thought Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare was a great story and the single player very good. Also got Modern Warfare 2 on order and primary will play the single player but I like online FPS. I used to love playing battlefield 2142 and previous. I just can not be bothered to install it and all the dam patches again at the moment.
Next battlefield looks to be a great online experience. 64  each side multiplayer is promised.

Large battles like that can be fun, but confusing.  I took part in a good number of Planetside raids with a couple of hundred people, and they are fun.  However after a while it does start to get silly.

:/
Wonder how that MAG for Playstation 3 will go.

I have always loved the battlefield games online, the controls just fit my play style.

You get far more than that if you play it properly (like a human would in a real situation).

Must go quick though with the auto-aim "feature" on consoles....  :gag:

FPS shooters on consoles still suck nads IMO, have yet to find one that is actually engrossing and doesnt feel like youre being hand held because of the control system weaknesses. I dont get all the halo fanboyism at all. They are okay for quick fun but you cant take them seriously. Real men FPS on PCs. :yarr:

Agreed, I still do not get it. Every time I play an FPS on the 360 it is Janky!
Halo has been the only one I found fun to play on console but know it would be better on pc.

If you want to compete you play on a PC. Granted.

If you want to sit in your lounge having a bud and playing an awesome game on a 40" screen, you play on the xbox. Thats the difference. Its more like a movie, and I just take my time over it, and enjoy it.

I dont play games online as I dont have the time and just get beat by the geeks anyway.

...and the cheating, bunny-hopping kidz....

They ruined COD4 Multiplayer for me.  Truly ruined it.
